Fuji Rock is always a highlight of Japan’s summer, and this year we decided to switch things up—and it made all the difference.

This summer, I wanted to experience Japan differently. Instead of staying in hotels or taking trains, I rented a campervan from Roam & Roll Campervan Japan and hit the road around Tokyo with a mission in mind: to wish for love and romance!

One of our most memorable experiences in Japan was embracing Van Life renting a campervan and road-tripping from Tokyo all the way up to Hokkaido, then slowly driving back south while exploring local towns, nature spots, and scenic stops far from the tourist crowds.
